As the sun started to set behind the hills, Inse and Curity were playing in their backyard. Inse was feeling insecure as he was trying to build a sandcastle, but it kept falling apart. Curity noticed that her brother was feeling down and came over to help him.
“Hey Inse, why don’t we build a sandcastle together? That way, we can work as a team and make it even better!” said Curity with a smile.
Inse felt a little hesitant at first, but he decided to give it a try. Together they started to build the sandcastle. Inse was still feeling insecure, but Curity showed him how to use the voice of insecurity as inspiration to make their castle even better.
“See Inse, the voice of insecurity can be a good thing sometimes. It helps us see where we can improve and make things better,” explained Curity.
Inse felt a little better and continued to work on the sandcastle with his sister. As they built, they talked about the voice of security and how it helps us feel confident and positive.
“Sometimes it’s hard to be self-confident, but the voice of security can help us see the good things in life,” said Curity.
Inse was starting to feel more confident as they worked on the sandcastle together. They added shells and sticks and even made a moat. But then, a big wave came and washed away their castle.
Inse started to feel angry and frustrated. Curity reminded him about the fourth transformation, where we take action based on what we have learned.
“Let’s build a better sandcastle, Inse! We can do it together,” said Curity.
Inse took a deep breath and started to work on the sandcastle again. They worked together, using both the voice of insecurity and the voice of security to make it the best sandcastle ever.
Finally, they were finished. They stepped back and admired their creation. Inse was feeling proud and happy. Curity reminded him about the fifth transformation, where we befriend the two inner voices.
“Inse, we did it! We worked together and made an amazing sandcastle. And we did it by using both the voice of insecurity and the voice of security. They don’t have to be enemies, they can be friends,” said Curity.
Inse smiled and nodded. He realized that with the help of his sister, he could overcome his insecurities and feel confident and positive. And that was the best feeling of all.
As they walked inside, Inse and Curity hugged each other. Inse knew that he had learned an important lesson today and he couldn’t wait to apply it to other situations in his life.
