The stories age 4+ are deliberately written in language that is understandable for parents. So extra explanation is (intentionally) required while read the bedtime story. This creates more intense parent-child relationship.

As the stars twinkled in the sky, and the moon shone bright, Inse couldn’t help but feel a little worried. He was starting a new day at school tomorrow and he wasn’t sure he was ready.

But just as he was about to let his worries take over, Curity appeared in his room. “Hey there little bro, what’s on your mind?” she asked, her voice calm and reassuring.

Inse sighed, “I’m nervous about school tomorrow. I’m afraid I won’t be able to focus in class and I’ll get distracted by everything around me.”

Curity smiled gently, “It’s normal to feel that way, but let me help you. Do you remember the five transformations we talked about?”

Inse nodded, “Yeah, the ones that help us deal with our feelings.”

“That’s right,” said Curity. “Let’s use them to help you stay focused in class tomorrow.”

And with that, Curity began to tell Inse a story.

“Once upon a time, there was a little boy just like you, Inse. He was starting a new school and he was feeling very nervous. But he had a special friend, just like you have me, and she taught him the five transformations. He listened to her and followed her advice, and he was able to focus in class and do his best work.”

Inse listened carefully as Curity continued the story, describing how the little boy faced distractions in the classroom, but used the five transformations to overcome them. She explained how he ignored the voice of insecurity, used it for inspiration, listened to the voice of security, took action, and befriended both inner voices.

As Curity finished the story, Inse felt a sense of calm wash over him. He knew that even if he faced distractions in the classroom, he had the five transformations to help him. And he also knew that he had Curity by his side, ready to guide him through anything.

“Thanks, Curity,” said Inse, feeling much more confident.

“Anytime, little bro,” said Curity, tucking him in. “Now get some sleep, and we’ll tackle tomorrow together.”

And with that, Inse closed his eyes, feeling safe and secure, knowing that he had the tools to face any challenge that came his way.
